Group Rehab/Therapy

Group treatment is designed to allow clients to treat issues in a group setting in which they can learn from their peers and work together to overcome problem areas. Groups are facilitated by a trained rehabilitation specialist or therapist based on the purpose of the group. Groups offered are focused on different problem areas clients want to address. Common areas treated in group are trauma, wellness, anger management, relationships, self-esteem, and much more. Groups are intended to teach clients skills to manage their issues, creating an environment in which they can  experience growth.

Sessions are 60 minutes in length. Multiple clients are present in session, non-clients are not permitted attendance.  List of Groups Offered: 

Overcoming Trauma 

A skills-focused treatment to help people attain safety from trauma/PTSD and/or substance abuse. Focus of group is purposefully not on processing traumatic events, but on generalization of skills to managing symptoms. Coping strategies are taught in group as skills in identifying triggers and setting boundaries.

Wellness and Recovery 

A group focused on the 8 dimensions of wellness. This group promotes an overall healthier you. Education in holistic health improvement (physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional). This group teaches ways in which to mitigate barriers to overall wellness and methods for enacting healthier choices.

Wellbody 

A group targeting those at risk for weight gain and lifestyle related issues. This program is designed to assist individuals to envision and achieve their personal Well Body goals. This group teaches strategies for weight control and healthier eating.  

Teen Resiliency  

 A group for young people age 13+ teaching skills in building a more confident you. This group focuses on building coping skills for handling bullying, low self-esteem, and other teen problem areas. This support building group engages youth by helping them identify ways to change their outlook on life and help them grow together.
